  • Another important taler issue that remains rarely available, featuring the armored bust of Karl Ludwig and crowned arms. As the holder indicates, this coin appears to be have cleaned long ago, and since that time, a stunning patination has covered both sides in exceptional color--the obverse is drenched in golden tones that pronounce the well-struck features of Holy Roman Emperor while the reverse adds touches of mauve and turquoise to the mix. A significant crown in many regards, and worthy of collector attention as such.

    Quality First

The finest recommendation is that coin collectors invest in quality coins. Buy the best grade you can afford and when it comes time to liquidate your collection, those impressive looking examples will sell for a premium over their lower graded peers.

    Rare Coins

The highly super rare coins, the elite coins, are in another realm of reality and are so rarely offered. We are interested in grade and variety rarity with great eye appeal, and general mint rarity with low survival rates. High grade Canadian coins are rarer than one may think. Population reports have been inflated over time with re-submissions.

    Eye Appeal

Generally looking for and selling above average eye appeal coins. Above average eye appeal may have the same technical grade however eye appeal is key. Coins that you could take a photo of and hang on your wall and be proud of, are the coins we like to see!
